The Carl Zeiss Automated Inspection GmbH develops and produces optical sensors, mainly used by the automobile industry. Because of shortage of space the company had to move from Öhringen to Neuenstein. The existing building is divided in an office space and in a production hall, a former printing press. The offices were renovated and new ones were added to fulfill the capacity of Carl Zeiss. Furthermore there was a two level office space built into the production hall to place more staff and some meeting-rooms.

The rest of the hall is used for production, different storage units and robotic cells for demonstration. The glass cubes serve for presentation to clients and are building the center of the hall as well as the connecting element between offices and production.
